How long does each therapy session take?

I offer free 15 minute consultations. This is a time to be sure that you are confident that we can work well together and for me to be sure that I can provide the services that you need.
Most sessions last between 45 and 55 minutes, though there can be some variation depending on your needs and the flow of the conversation. Therapy, like all good things, is fluid and accommodating to your needs.

What is your theoretical framework?

I am skilled in CBT, DBT and ACT therapy which is useful in soliciting change and helping you to develop skills to continue your progress long after leaving a therapy session.
I am currently working toward Gottman certification- a very useful skills set when providing marital counseling. Check back for updates - I will be sure to tell you when I am fully credentialed in this modality.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

Yes. While I do have a base rate for hourly cash pay services, I offer a sliding fee based on ability to pay. Please see the home page for accepted insurances and possible payment options if I am out-of-network with your insurance.

Where do we meet?

Currently I am offering telehealth services only and will be transitioning to in-person services at my new location starting August 1, 2021. Individuals desiring in-person will complete COVID required forms. I request if you are not feeling well, please reschedule your appointment as I will be taking proper precautions to prevent the spread of COVID.

What are your COVID procedures?

It is my number one priority to create a safe space for my clients. This includes sanitizing the space after each client, providing accessible hand sanitizer, and following state and federal guidelines. If you have been exposed to COVID-19, please notify me immediately. You will also have consents to complete if you choose to have in-person sessions.

Are you available for speaking engagements?
